Launching Today: Exude Lipstick

Beauty / Cosmetics / August 2, 2011

Always one to rock a beautiful, bright red lip, Rachel Zoe—fashion maven, reality star, and new mom—is the perfect spokesperson for new lipstick line Exude.

Exude, which officially launches today, claims to “modernize the way women wear lipstick.”

How so?

Via its twist applicator, which dispenses just the right amount of lipstick needed, so there is no mess, waste, or awful, embarrassing, over-the-top smear.

Plus, these babies won’t dry out your precious puckers—they are infused with moisturizing agents such as vitamins E and C, and goji berry. Zoe says they are just like a balm, except they also offer amazing color.

And I have to say, the website is way cool.

I got a little obsessed with the “Try It On” feature, where you can upload a picture of yourself and see which shades suit you.

I finally settled on the Pink #2 Lip Creme–I love the sweet touch of mauve it gave my virtual lips.

Each lipstick (and gloss) is $29, and you can purchase them now on

A wider launch is slated for early fall. But I have to say, based on my computer-generated  try-it-on test, I think I’m going to order a tube. Like, now.
