Naomi Campbell will be filming a documentary as part of CNBC’s “Meets” series, by Tania Bryer.

The show will document the life and journey of the famously temperamental model and review her pre-model years in Streatham in South London, as well as her ascent to supermodel stardom.

The documentary also features stories about Campbell’s battle with racism in the modeling industry and her current charity work for organizations such as Fashion For Relief.

Included in the special are interviews with producer and mentor, Quincy Jones, Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran.

Fans also will get tidbits about her relationship with Bob Marley and Nelson Mandela.

The documentary’s runtime is approximately 30-minutes, and will air on CNBC in the UK on September 28th at 10 p.m., and in the U.S. on October 1st at 5:30 p.m.

Rhi Strayer is currently obsessed with Jeffrey Campbell shoes, sparkles, studs, and anything having to do with Lady Gaga.
