An Interactive Website Dedicated to Fashion Film Launches

If you love fashion film, then you might want to check out a new website called Imagine Fashion.

The website spotlights fashion and beauty through film- and not the kind of “fashion film” that shows a model walking around aimlessly in designer duds for an excruciating amount of time, but real film with plots and characters that the LA Times has deemed “art-house cool.”

The interactive site will allow users to click on characters in the film to buy fashion and beauty luxury products.

Here’s what Imagine Films says about the user experience on their website:

iF is an inspirational and aspirational moving content experience, providing its audience with a revolutionary level of interaction.

At the click of a mouse, viewers will be able to connect with all that they see and hear, and embark on a cutting-edge ‘share and shop’ dynamic content experience.

iF’s unique multi-layered functionality, embedded into each film, will allow viewers to buy any featured clothing or accessories instantly from associated e-commerce destinations as well as save and share with friends.

Already the website, which is designed as a monthly publication,  hosts over a dozen preview showcase films from art contributors electroclash musician Casey Spooner and Adam Dugas and also names filmmaker Zach Gold, Patti Wilson and fashion journalist Godfrey Deeny among its contributors.

The trailer for A Letter, Imagine Films first interactive editorial fashion story, starring Elisa Sednaoui, Paz de la Huerta, Poppy Delevigne and Zoe Le Ber.

The websites first feature editorial fashion film, A Letter, debuted on the Imagine Fashion website yesterday and can be watched online here.
