Humans will live in space some day.
That’s the idea behind Spanish performance artist, Alicia Framis’ new futuristic footwear. While this idea is, literally, out of this world, so is the concept of this shoe, a build your own platform heel.
The carbon-fiber base comes as a flat heel, with tons of interchangeable pieces. You can make them subtle heels, 6’’ platforms, or sky-high-outer-space-over-the-top-touch-the-moon-space-shoes.
Farmis designed the shoe for United Nude’s “Moon Life” project. While they may not actually transcend you into another atmosphere, their concept is unlike anything we’ve encountered before, so go for it, build it up and reach for the moon.
