It’s been awhile since we’ve seen a glimpse of rock royal progeny, Frances Bean Cobain. The daughter of rock-star-turned-tabloid-headliner, Courtney Love and late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, has been keeping quite a low profile.

However, that’s all about to change.

Cobain was recently photographed by fashion designer, Hedi Slimane—and the results are amazing.

Done in black and white, the photos feature the 18-year-old in various t-shirts, lacey tank tops, and poses. Cobain also flaunts a bevy of tattoos, including one on her arm that reads “Well it’s my time coming, I’m not afraid to die.”

The images also feature Cobain smoking cigarettes, tousling her dark locks, and staring into the camera with big blue eyes that’s reminiscent of her famous father.

While a designer, Hedi Slimane has become well known for his black and white photography. He’s captured the images of many controversial artists like Courtney Love, Amy Winehouse, and Lindsay Lohan.
