Designer collaborations with budget friendly stores such as Macy’s and Target allow those without celebrity paychecks to purchase the final product of a designer’s creative process without the heavy price tag.

In the world of designer and retailer collaborations, one of the most anticipated collections to date is that of Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld for retailer Macy’s.

Images of Lagerfeld’s collection for Macy’s were recently released and have been winning over fashion audiences nationwide.

The collection images reveal a line that is comprised of dresses, skirts, blouses, and accessories, all with signature feminine Chanel-reminiscent detailing. Tees and tanks with images of Lagerfeld as well as his beloved fingerless gloves are bound to be best sellers. The prints among the collection are ultra feminine and remain true to the style of Chanel.

Pieces from the Karl Lagerfeld for Macy’s Impulse collection will retail from $50 to $170 and will be available in 230 Macy’s stores and online at Macys.com beginning on August 31st.
