Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!
The Museum of Art and Design will host the three day spectacle, Fashion in Film, an event that will have film buffs and fashion addicts fighting to get through the doors.
The event exhibits moments in film that gave birth to new and innovative ideas in fashion. With partnerships between Vanity Fair and the Film Society of Lincoln Center, it is sure to be one fashion filled weekend full of screenings of cult classics such as Russ Meyer’s 1965 Faster Pussycat Kill Kill and The Eyes of Laura Mars.
The event also premieres new films like a documentary by Jan Sharp titled Jan, Rick, and Scarlett.
On Sunday, September 11, Fashion in Film will host a chat with co-curator Simon Doonan, Barney’s creative ambassador about the iconic moments on screen that inspired new and innovative designs in fashion.
The event’s screenings will take place September 9-11. For ticket prices and a full schedule, you can check here.
