Chocolate and supermodels do not mix; and chocolate and Naomi Campbell definitely do not mix.
The assault-friendly supermodel, notorious for her fits, rivalries and tantrums announced that she is considering taking legal action against Cadbury, the company which produces those amazing eggs during the Easter season.
Campbell is dissatisfied with Cadbury’s new ad campaign, which compares the infamous model to a chocolate bar with the slogan, “Move over Naomi, there’s a new diva in town.”
“I am shocked,” the new/old diva told the Daily Mail. “It’s upsetting to be described as chocolate, not just for me but for all black women and black people.”
Fearing the wrath of Campbell, or probably more so the lawsuit, Kraft, Cadbury’s parent company, has already removed advertisements and have no plans of continuing with the ad campaign.
“It was certainly never our intention to cause any offense and the campaign itself is a light-hearted take on the social pretensions of Cadbury Dairy Milk Bliss,” Kraft said in a statement.
While it remains unclear whether Campbell is go through with the lawsuit, one thing remains true: Kraft and Cadbury betta do something to satisfy Campbell before she resorts back to her old ways and throws her phone at them.
