Sobriety looks good on Pete Doherty.  It was only a few months ago that Baby Shambles frontman Doherty announced the launch of his Albion Trinketry jewelry line .

Following his jewelry line announcement, came more news (and pictures!)  that the former Kate Moss boyfriend debuted as an actor by starring in the Sylvie Verheyde directed period film The Confession Of A Child Of The Century.

And now, WWD is reporting that Doherty is branching out into clothing design in a collaboration with the French contemporary brand The Kooples.

Together, Doherty and The Kooples will produce a military inspired mini-collection which will include flannel blazers, Soviet-style coats with fur collars and T-shirts printed with the musician’s own paintings and sketches

The collection is expected to go on sale in October 2011.

Whitney, take note.
