When I think of Sylvester Stallone, I think of sweat suits, camouflage and how much Jackie Stallone scares me.
What I don’t think about is fashion.
WWD is reporting that Rambo and Rocky star, Sylvester Stallone, will launch a men’s lifestyle brand in 2012.
Stallone’s company, appropriately named Sly Inc., will produce jeans, shirts, outerwear, underwear and watches with plans to later introduce eyewear, grooming products, fragrance, active-wear and athletic shoes to the collection.
According to Henry, President of Sly Inc., the collection will be influenced by Stallone’ movie characters “Rocky” and “Rambo” and the characters may also be used in the marketing of the brand.
On Stallone’s involvement in the collection, Henry says:
“Sylvester Stallone enjoys being well dressed and he has great advice to offer on clothing and accessory options.
He appreciates being comfortable in his clothes, having the right fit, wearing fine watches and eyewear, and he demands only the best materials for this brand.”
In 2012, will we see a collection of Rambo-inspired camouflage sweat-suits?
We’ll have to wait and see.
Until then, mark this as my biggest WTF of the week.
