With the upcoming November 23rd release of The Muppets, Walt Disney Pictures and Threadless partnered to create a muppet t-shirt design contest. Contestants designed their t-shirts based on their favorite muppet character.

The designs range from a mosaic of Kermit’s face to a Facebook themed shirt showing all of Kermit’s friends.

And, it turns out that Threadless was not the only brand to host a muppet t-shirt contest. WeLoveFine.com also held a contest for Muppet T-shirt designs and have announced five winners.

Since the first theatrical film release of The Muppets in 1979, the franchise has continued to be a hit among audiences, and has inspired a new series of “muppet” products that include nail polish!

Winners from the Walt Disney and Threadless t-shirt competition have been selected, and their designs can be purchased at Threadless.
