Marc Jacobs has been on the lips of many following the rumors that he is set to replace John Galliano as creative director for Dior.

Now, it is Louis Vuitton who wishes to honor Jacobs with a tribute exhibit set to launch during Milan Fashion week.

Curated by Katie Grand, the exhibit will display over a decade of Marc Jacobs’s work during his years as Louis Vuitton’s artistic director.

Set to run from September 22 to October 9 of this year, the exhibit will premiere at the newly renovated Louis Vuitton store on Via Montenapoleone in Milan.

Many suspect this exposition of Jacob’s work could be Vuitton’s final adieu before Jacobs begins his journey with the house of Dior.

Regardless, the exhibit should be a magnificent tribute to a genius that has strengthened the Vuitton name since 1997.
