The Australian rock band, Wolfmother has announced that their upcoming third record will be released early 2012.
The band will tour Australia to give their fellow native Aussies a taste of their new album, starting in December.
“We are … over the moon to be announcing our forthcoming regional tour,” the band stated last week on their homepage.
After touring successfully in Europe, the band has yet to slow down. Following their Australia tour, the band will tour with Lenny Kravitz on his 2012 Australian tour, also featuring The Cranberries. The tour will hit major cities such as Sydney and Brisbane.
This year has proven to be a successful year for Wolfmother. Their psychedelic guitar riffs that are reminiscent of music past, and heavy bass and percussion played to perfection makes this band well on its way to becoming legendary.
