Comprised of band members Thomas Redmond (vocals) and Noam Eisner (percussionist), True Womanhood is a two-man band that hails from Washington D.C.

Harboring a talent for mixing experimental sounds, the group is known for their avant-garde, pop sound that is often compared to the likeness of 80s band Sonic Youth.

This past week, Meets Obsession was at the Black Cat in Washington D.C. to catch the live True Womanhood show.

Check out some of our favorite photos from the show. Be sure to take a LISTEN to “MINAJAH”—a track that is inspired by the Washington D.C. originated Moombahton dance craze—from their “REEL TOO REA” EP.
