Decades and Modern Vintage Team Up to Create Footwear from the 50s to the 70s

When you think of famous vintage stores, chances are you think of the L.A. vintage couture boutique Decades.

The store’s owner, Cameron Silver, has decided to collaborate with Italian footwear brand Modern Vintage to create a line of retro-inspired footwear.

The latest line includes four pairs of shoes from four decades in the twentieth century: the ’50s, ’60s, ’70s and ’80s. From the blue suede stiletto, to the python t-strap platform sandal, to the cork platform sandal, and the metallic detailed wedge, each shoe represents its decade well while promoting a modern feel.

The shoe prices will range from $250 to $300 making them affordable for a wide range of budgets.

On March 1, the line will debut on Gilt.com and will then move to various other retailers such as Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus,  Shopbop and  Modern Vintage.
