A technique seen mostly in the 70s and 80s, ombre—the dyed graduation of color in a garment—is making a major resurgence. Though, this time around, ombre can be found on practically everything wearable—from hair color to nail polish, shoes and jewelry.
On the red carpet, actress and model Jamie King was spotted wearing ombre blue hair, which easily worked with her green and black jewelry. Jessica Alba wore her Doo Ri gradient dip-dyed jacket with orange and floral, and Louise Roe successfully pulled off an ombre maxi skirt.
Needless to say, this trend isn’t fading anytime soon.
