LISTEN: Cass McCombs Coming to DC Area and Our Favorite Tracks from Humor Risk
While American songwriter and performer Cass McCombs has been called many things, “nomad” might be the most apt description of this folksy rocker – nomadic not only in his existence, but also in his work.
His latest albums “Humor Risk” and “Wit’s End” were easily among critics’ favorites for 2011.
His tracks, pensive and lyrically driven, showcases McCombs creative range both subtly and profoundly, and as a result, he’s received tremendous critical reception of both albums.
Now this nomad is wandering to the DC area to headline at Ottobar in Baltimore, MD on January 21. The show is part of McCombs month long tour. McCombs will continue on to Philadelphia and New York in the days after, rounding out the tour in Salt Lake City on February 4.
