There are those designers that have mastered figure-flattering silhouettes, and then there are those other designers that have perfected the use of prints, but if you’re Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, the duo behind the Peter Pilotto label, you’ve conquered both.
The Pilotto brand, known for their work of art clothing that involves complex geometric piecework, hyper-real digital prints and angular silhouettes, has just been announced as the new luxe label to partner with mega retailer Target for a collaboration collection.
The Pilotto for Target collection is set to hit Target stores in February of next year with nearly 70 designed items—swimwear, apparel and accessories–that will range from $14.99 to $79.00
In a press release, Peter Pilotto explained why a Target collaboration was the right direction for the London-founded brand, saying “By working with Target, we’re able to broaden our reach and bring our design aesthetic to an entirely new audience.”
Target will also partner with Net-a-Porter, who will curate a limited-edition assortment of Target x Peter Pilotto items that will be sold to an international audience on the Minneapolis-based e-retailer’s website.
With the Phillip Lim 3.1 for Target collection having just launched last week, and with this new announcement, we can no longer control ourselves, which is why we’ve put together our 5 favorite Pilotto pieces that we hope will make it in the Target collaboration
A frugal fashionista can dream, can’t she?
