Nicola Formichetti’s Diesel Tribute Collection Launches Today

Capsule Collections / November 4, 2013

Who could forget when Nicola Formichetti revamped Mugler and became fashion’s most talked about Creative Director. For a moment, we were all captivated with what Formichetti would do next as he pushed boundaries with intriguing runway presentations and multi-media campaigns using unconventional models like Rick Genest and Lady Gaga.

But now that Formichetti has left Mugler for Diesel as of April 2013, we’ve been anxiously awaiting for his debut Diesel collection, which is expected to show in March at Milan Fashion Week.

For those impatient fashionistas, March 2014 is a bit of a wait.  But don’t fret,  Formichetti just released a Diesel Tribute capsule collection, which celebrates the brand’s 35-year history with an assortment of  denim shirts, hats,  jeans, and jackets, all inspired by the brand’s classic pieces.

With this small taste of what’s yet to come, we  seriously can’t wait to see Formichetti’s entire vision for Diesel.

The Diesel Tribute collection is available today in select Diesel stores.
