Although she will no longer mentor on the recently cancelled “Fashion Star” reality TV show, Nicole Richie’s future still looks bright as can be, especially with the recent launch of her House of Harlow clothing collection.
Launched exclusively on Shopbop.com, the 5-piece, all-black collection features a moto jacket, a bodycon dress, a skater skirt, leggings and shorts, all made in faux leather.
A few of the items, particularly the Aria skirt and dress, remind us of the popular laser-cut Winter Kate top Nicole Richie wore last year, except House of Harlow’s intricate laser-cut versions are at a significantly lower price point—$145 for the Otis Shorts to $285 for the Ramona Jacket—most likely due to the use of faux leather.
Real leather or not, we’re pretty excited about this collection.
It’s cruelty-free, but still downtown-cool and on-trend, and we can work almost every item in the collection into both our summer and winter wardrobes.
