SNL Nails Wes Anderson Film Spoof Featuring Ed Norton as Owen Wilson

Film & Animation / Television / TV / October 28, 2013

There’s just something magical about a Wes Anderson film.

Maybe it’s the way Anderson strategically uses color, or perhaps it’s his obscure characters and their deadpan dialogue delivery, or the fact that Bill Murray, Owen Wilson and Jason Schwartzman seem to be consistently on his hire list – whatever the case may be, one thing is for sure, there’s no mistaking a Wes Anderson film.

And Saturday Night Live gets this, too, with their latest Anderson spoof skit featuring Ed Norton as Owen Wilson and Alec Baldwin as the trailer’s narrator (what would an Anderson film be without a narrator?)

Hilarity ensues as SNL reveals, “The Midnight Coterie of Sinister Intruders,” a spoof trailer of the latest Wes Anderson horror film.

Though the trailer is fake (and freakin FUNNY), we sort of wish it were real.
