For Thanksgiving, We’re Showing Our Beauty Gratitude (and the Products We Can’t Live Without)

Beauty / November 13, 2014

In honor of Thanksgiving, which is quickly approaching, I felt compelled to express my gratitude for these invaluable products.

They are the must-haves that make me feel a little bit better about myself every day, and for that I am very grateful.

The following nine beauty staples literally make my life, and I’m honestly not sure what I’d do without them.

Kiehl’s Rosa Arctica Eye Cream, $46
Yes, it’s pricey, but this eye cream is absolutely worth the Benjys. Especially if you have pesky under-eye dark spots, like I do.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer, $10
I learned the hard way that I need an oil-free moisturizer in order to keep my face hydrated and clear at the same time. Neutrogena’s does the trick — it’s been my go-to for nearly 10 years now.

Garnier Skin Renew 5-Second Blur Instant Smoother, $17
My latest beauty obsession — blur cream! Garnier’s is one of the least expensive, and it works just as well as most of high-end options, IMHO.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup, $13
I will never use another foundation. It covers flaws beautifully and has noticeably improved my skin’s tone and texture. And coupled with a blur cream, it makes my face especially photo-ready.

Physicians Formula Bronze Booster Glow-Boosting BB Bronzer, $15
Bronzers in general have saved me from my naturally pale, flush-free face. I will more or less try any type I can get my hands on; right now I’m using this BB-infused palette from Physicians Formula.

Jurlique Love Balm, $8
Another recent addition to my daily beauty arsenal, Jurlique’s balm is a life-saver for chapped lips. It’s also excellent for healing hangnails and prepping cuticles for a mani.

Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint in Grateful, $24
Less is often more when it comes to cold-weather makeup. Tarte’s rose-tinted nude stain is great for every day — it adds a hint of natural color while keeping lips hydrated.

Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk, $20
As a naturally curly haired girl, dry shampoos have changed my life by prolonging each and every one of my blowouts. Klorane’s is my favorite because it adds amazing volume as it cleans — and it doesn’t harm my hair color.

Auric Blends Love Perfume Oil, $25
My Fall-to-Winter scent staple, Auric’s perfume oil is warm, sexy and slightly spicy.
