It was just a week ago when we realized we hadn’t seen much of actress Michelle Williams lately. She was a constant on everyone’s best dressed list for the last few years, and it was only in 2011 when we were buzzing about her role in “My Week with Marilyn.”  Sure, she’s show up on the occasional red carpet—but lately, Michelle has been M.I.A.

When we realized this, we started to panic. What happened to Michelle Williams?

Checking her IMDB page, we saw that her filmography section was pretty sparse. On it, there’s the tragic 2013 “Oz,” but not much since then besides a random television appearance and a war drama that’s just out of production.

While we were thinking about how we’ll miss her major fashion moments and her brilliant acting, we received an email alert that said Emma Stone would be replacing her in the Broadway revival of the Tony Award-winning musical, “Cabaret.”

Doh! We had completely forgotten that Williams put Hollywood on hold to take on New York. She’s a legit Broadway star now, you know?

And even though we haven’t seen her on the silver screen lately, one thing that’s been a constant is Michelle’s role as the face of Louis Vuitton’s handbag collection.

This year, Williams, shot by photographer Peter Lindberg, is seemingly angelic while wearing shades of white and posing with perfectly pastel ‘Capucine’ and ‘Lockit’ Louis Vuitton bags, both popping against a black and white canvas.

Tousled, wispy,  white-blonde hair with contrasting dark eyebrows makes Williams look effortless. Black boots paired with an off-white A-line dress adds enough edge to make the ad young and relevant while still giving a nod to the past.

As always, Williams shines quietly, yet brilliantly.

This is Williams third season starring in Louis Vuitton’s ad campaign. Obviously, third time’s the charm.
