Often incorporated into their sporty luxe designs, designers like Alexander Wang and Rebecca Minkoff have helped mesh become a hit on the runway each season. The loosely woven fabric shows no sign of going away anytime soon. One of the reasons for its staying power is that it manages to show just enough skin when needed and adds a small dose of laid back cool to any look.

Recently we’ve started to see ladylike interpretations of mesh and we can’t get enough. Valentino’s heavily embroidered designs incorporated mesh panels that resulted in lush designs rather than your expected minimalist take.
