Best Dressed: BAFTAs Edition

The Sunday night BAFTAs  were the last big stop before the Oscar red carpet, and Hollywood’s best delivered discussion-worthy red carpet stunners. Although some big names were absent, the red carpet— walked by Dames, a Duke, and even Hollywood royalty– were full of sensational looks.

With Jennifer Lawrence noticeably absent at the BAFTAs this year, Lupita Nyong’o was crowned  darling damsel in Dior wearing a stunning emerald Christian Dior Couture gown. Accented with gold jewelry and bold lips, she proved that her red carpet success has no end in sight. This makes us even more excited to see what she has in store for the Academy Awards.

There is one way to make an effortless statement of the red carpet, and that’s by rocking menswear. Not only did Angelina Jolie make a bold choice in her Saint Laurent tuxedo pants and jacket, she chose to do so with a date on her arm. But, Brad Pitt was clearly out shined as his partner stole all the attention. Don’t get us wrong, he was quite dapper, but Angelina Jolie completely  stole the show with her well-tailored Saint Laurent suit.

Good Girls Go Gucci Naomie Harris In Gucci

Naomie Harris in Gucci

This is the first year that Gucci  has had so many unforgettable red carpet moments. Adding to another Gucci fashion win, Naomie Harris looked stunning in this deep V-neck, high slight Gucci dress. A black belt and black pumps completed look. Although Gucci didn’t claim the best dressed look this time around, it still made a fabulous appearance on the red carpet. Hopefully we see some more gorgeous Gucci looks at the Oscars.

Amy Adams killed it on the red carpet with this simple yet stunning Victoria Beckham dress. Wearing an effortless black column Victor Beckham dress, with a black mesh crop top and accent collar, Amy was simply stunning. Bold lips and a sleek side bun accented this dress beautifully. Giving us something new by constantly mixing up her hair and make up, Amy’s red carpet choices have been the most interesting so far this award season.  Did we mention the zipper that goes all the way up the back?
