If Minnie Mouse were a real person, she would be the object of every street style photographer's desire.

Whether it be polka dots, her pop-of-color yellow pumps, or her signature giant bow, Minnie’s style is eclectic and colorful.

That style is being honored by a handful of designers slated to present at London Fashion Week.

Top British designers, such as Giles Deacon, Richard Nicoll, Katie Hillier, Michael van der Ham, Piers Atkinson, Bunney, Terry de Havilland and Husam el Odeh with Luke Hersheson, will each present a one-off garment inspired by Minnie’s style.

The Minnie must-haves will make its debut at London Fashion Week and then be auctioned off on eBay with proceeds benefiting the Fashion Arts Foundation.

In an unrelated interesting twist, part of Meadham Kirchhoff’s  Spring 2013 collection will be inspired by the mousey maven.

What could pieces inspired by Ms. Mouse look like?  We can only hope for tons of fun, bright colors, polka dots, funky bows and headpieces, along with shoes in a rainbow of colors.

Minnie is definitely one to watch this upcoming season.

Already design favorites of superstars like Katy Perry and Beyonce, The Blonds—consisting of design duo Philipe and David Blond—have a new fan that’s been famous for decades.

Enter Mattel’s Barbie, who is getting a glamour boost from The Blonds. The designers collaborated with Mattel on a limited-edition of the doll, which is slated to be released in December of this year.

The collaboration Barbie, called “Blond Diamond™,” has an ensemble of a white faux-fur coat, glittery, pink-soled stilettos, and a signature deco-corset, which was inspired by an outfit worn during The Blonds’ AW08 fashion show.

America's favorite (and most controversial) doll has been given many makeovers throughout the years, but this is one collaboration that we’re super-excited about.

Plus, considering that the real-life outfit retails for well over $35,000, and the “Blond Diamond™” Barbie retails for only $125, we’ll finally be able to afford an outfit by The Blonds.

Sort of.

U.K. based jewelry house Allumer has partnered with fashion designer Paul Smith on a capsule collection featuring its signature matchstick necklace.

In addition to the necklace, the "Flicker Of Light" collection will also include a bracelet.  The bracelet and necklace, which will be available in August, are available in both silver and 9K gold vermeil with your choice of matchstick tips in quartz, peridot, garnet or amethyst.

The words "light up my life" are etched on the side of the matchstick boxes, which make this the perfect accessory to give your significant other.

The necklace will retail for approximately $188 and the bracelet will retail for $108. Both pieces can be purchased on the Paul Smith website starting in August.

We at Meets Obsession magazine have somewhat of a girl crush on Mary-Kate Olsen. Not only is she a fashion icon whose boho-granny looks inspired masses of girls to head to thrift shops and Starbucks, but she’s one of the few actors turned designers who have been taken seriously in this fleeting industry, which is a hard thing to accomplish - just ask Lindsay Lohan and Ungaro.

Mary-Kate is an individual whose daring aesthetic and business savvy comes into play when designing her many fashion lines with her sister Ashley. While riding out the high of being named 2012's CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year, along with her sister, Mary Kate is having quite an eventful year.

What could make her life more fabulous, you might ask? Well, she's dating the half-brother of former French president Olivier Sarkozy.

Olivier Sarkozy is tall, handsome, 42 and sixteen years Mary Kate’s senior. Which is really no big deal these days, however a recent picture surfaced that is gaining the public’s attention.

Mary-Kate is seen strolling around with Olivier and his tween daughter, who is taller than MK and dressed with alarming resemblance.  Strangely, Mary-Kate looks the same age as Sarkozy’s daughter, and in the photo, she’s puffing on a cigarette and talking on a cell phone. Though the public is a bit angered by this photo, we find it hilarious (and maybe a bit creepy, too).

Creepiness aside, with Olivier as the Managing Director of global asset management firm The Carlyle Group, we think these two might be the next power couple.

Move over, David and Victoria.

Creatures of the Wind designers Shane Gabier and Chris Peters never cease to amaze their fans. While still a relatively young design duo, they have made moves that most fledgling designers can only dream of achieving.

Their most recent success is a collaboration with J. Crew as part of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Initiative for designers on the rise.

The four-piece Creatures of the Wind collection for J. Crew contains quirky separates inspired by the rebellion of the youth during the sixties.

We’re madly obsessed with the glittery colorblocked oxfords ($295). The colorful and decidedly mod collection also contains a chambray and liberty print dress ($350), and for those that are going for a (slightly) more subdued look,  there is a sweater tee ($195) and a matching cardigan ($245).

The collection is now available online at jcrew.comor in New York City at the 5th Avenue flagship.

In ancient times, they were used as signet rings. During the Renaissance, Pope Paul II collected them. At the time of King George III's reign, Queen Victoria revived them, and in the 80’s, they made a comeback. And now, thanks to Miu Miu, the cameo is back and more fun than ever.

Miu Miu’s latest "Cammeo Cristal" collection contains bracelets, pendant earrings and necklaces featuring cameos in various colors and profiles.

Some pieces that were seen in their S/S 2012 ad campaign caused a stir among costume jewelry enthusiasts. These pieces have changed slightly, but are still fabulous.

The chunky bracelets and bangles have a cameo situated in the center of sparkling stones in varying colors, such as our personal favorite, pink and black. The necklaces are super dramatic with various layers of stones with a cameo positioned off-center opposed to the center, like most pendants. The earrings are simple, but would provide a great pop of color to any outfit.

All these pieces are crafted with precision using individual layers of plexi cut and placed on a double contrasting frame to create a vibrant, colorful surface.

Marc Jacobs Revisits the 70s, 80s and 90s with Camouflage and Striped Resort 2013 Collection

Abstract camouflage and stripes are the main subject of the Marc by Marc Jacobs Resort 2013 collection.

With a collection that gives an enthusiastic nod to the 90s, Jacobs’ latest offers a mishmash of textures, such as leather, neoprene, and acid wash denim, and muted prints that include florals, plaid, herringbone and sequin stripes.

Besides the long dresses with varying lengths of sleeves, there are also standout looks featuring modern yet demure pantsuits and short suits with coats to match.

Among the models styled with blue, white and fluorescent green dyed hair reminiscent of hair worn during the 90s grunge period, one model wears a Jacobs’ self-visage sweatshirt, which was made from a portrait sketch of his younger self by Elizabeth Peyton.

Jacobs’ manages to create a cohesive collection that not only pays homage to the 90s, but influences from the 60s, 70s, 80s can be found within some of the pieces.

One can almost imagine Jacobs sitting in his studio designing every last detail of the looks, including the shoes and bags.

Reminiscent of the 70s, the clog-like shoes were bejeweled with an abstract heel — also, a collection of two-tone oxfords are seen throughout the collection.

The bags, ranging from clutches to totes, added yet another layer of depth to the the collection.

Jewel Heritage, a jewelry line started by two sisters based in the UK, has released a special collection for their one year anniversary of The Harbinger of Death ring.

A crow, which is now considered a symbol or omen of death, at one time, was known as the messenger of the gods.  Omen or not, these dark, somewhat sinister rings are captivating and would be a perfect way to edge any look up.

The Harbinger of Death collection includes an assortment of rings, all with the same design, with finishes in 18k gold and black rhodium. There are several colors of "eye stone" options to select from in black, clear, green, pink, purple, red, and yellow CZ stones.

Within the mini-collection, there is also a talon bracelet and crow necklace. All pieces can be purchased for under $100 plus shipping.

Pamela Love Steps into Apparel Design with J. Crew Collaboration Collection

It’s no secret that we at Meets Obsession are huge fans of quintessential cool girl Pamela Love. When we discovered that Love was collaborating on a collection with J. Crew, we were thrilled to find out that we might have access to a lower-priced line of her edgy, organic statement accessories.

Boy were we wrong.

For her collaboration with J.Crew, Love has decided to give apparel a shot.

Denim is the only thing that the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund runner-up loves as much as jewelry, so it was only a natural fit for denim to be the focus of Love's collection.

The Pamela Love for J. Crew collection is comprised of three pieces:  Love's Lorimer skinny jean, a chevron belt and a Lorimer jean jacket.

The Lorimer jean jacket retails for $295 and is embellished with metal southwestern motifs, which is a true tribute to the designer's aesthetic.

The Lorimer skinny jean, retailing for $295, has a comfortable, yet tomboy look that Love adores. The last piece in the collection is a Chevron Belt ($135). The belt is covered in antique studs and complete with a double chevron buckle.

These pieces can be worn together or separate, making them extremely versatile.

If you 're looking to buy a statement bag, Spanish designer Inás Figaredo's collection of handbags might just be for you.

Much like Judith Leiber and Timmy Woods, each whimsical bag from Figaredo's line is handcrafted.

We have some personal Figaredo faves here at Meets Obsession, which include a doctor's bag complete with a man and a ladder, a skull bag and a golden hand with dangling digits (nail polish included).

As much as we love  Figaredo's collection of handbags, they are a bit pricey with her bags retailing from $1,000 to $4,000.

And if you're like us, without a couple of thousand dollars to drop on a bag, you can still take an internet stroll to her website to check out Figaredo's entire collection, which is equivalent to a trip to an art museum.

With our smartphone-loving society, one might think a nail app will tell you the hottest polish colors of the season or how to give yourself the perfect manicure.

However, in the case of OPI, a nail app is their latest line of nail strips.

Sally Hansen's nail strips were the top selling product for the brand in 2011, and the fact that OPI is finally jumping on the nail craze bandwagon is a savvy business move.

In addition to OPI, the UK- based beauty brand Models Own is also releasing their own line of nail strips, which ultimately is a great thing for those of us that  like to take our nail art to the next level.

Can you imagine how many design options will be available over the next several months?

OPI's nail apps come in both cream and gloss finishes with fun patterns such as snakeskin, pink and yellow peacock, and zebra.

The strips will sell for $12 a set and will be available where OPI products are sold.

How could anyone forget Rick Genest, aka Zombie Boy?

Thanks to Lady Gaga and Nicola Formichetti, Genest rose to fame with an appearance in her Born This Way video and as the muse of Mugler.

After disappearing for several months, Genest is back with stealthy zombie-like return as the latest model to grace the May/July issue of Factice, a French fashion magazine with a focus on photography and interviews.

Shot by French photographer Stephane Roy, the inside editorial has an unsurprisingly dark theme, which includes a crown of thorns, blood-red roses, studded leather and a BABY?!

Here's to hoping that the baby isn't scarred for life with images of Genest's face forever ingrained in his head.

Anna Dello Russo Unveils Her H&M Jewelry Collection

Anna Dello Russo is a bird of another color, but it depends on what day you see her.

The Vogue Japan editor-at-large is usually caught on the pavements of fashion week wearing all sorts of eclectic pieces from ostrich feathers to glittery cherry headpieces. This is not surprising as she has an apartment just for her clothes.

But ADR claims her true love is accessories, which is fitting because Dello Russo has just unveiled her latest jewelry collaboration with Swedish retail giant H&M.

The Dello Russo and H&M jewelry collection, which will go on sale in H&M stores worldwide on October 4th, will consist of approximately 50 items, including shoes, handbags, jewelry and sunglasses.

Each piece is incredibly opulent with the typical vibrancy that Dello Russo exudes.

And in true H&M fashion, prices for pieces within the collection will be affordable for most, with earrings retailing at only $26 to shoes retailing at $196.

Not only is Dello Russo Meets Obsession’s “Most Intriguing” in fashion, but from the looks of it, she’s also a talented accessories designers.

So ladies, prepare yourselves for the H&M madness come October 4th.
